Kittrell - Redman Wedding 12.18.2010

Okay, so I'm not really going in chronological order here... but I would be remiss by not sharing photos and my account of this sweet wedding!

Amy Kittrell and Brett Redman married on December 18, 2010 in Conroe, TX. Amy was a roommate of mine for 2 years, and I had the blessing of getting to know them as both a dating and engaged couple! This lovely couple dated for at least 6 years before saying "I Do!" I love the high-school sweet heart stories:)
Amy chose a beautiful aqua-teal color for the bridesmaids dresses...and groomsmen wore matching ties --black and cream colored accents were included -great winter color choices! The ceremony was a traditional service at West Conroe Baptist Church - the church Amy and Brett attended growing up!

The benefit of having a wedding during the Christmas season is, that the church facility is often decorated already.... you don't have to do much to the chapel most of the time. Here, they had several white poinsettias poised on stage.

The reception was held in the youth building of the same church... and as the room was pretty bare, Amy recruited help from bridal party participants and family members. Set up can be done very quickly when you have a big crew assigned to tasks the morning of! The room turned out great... check out the awesome table decorations! (Amy had created bags that held decorations for each table...each table had its own bag - made set up and tear down very easy.)

Glass candle holders, shimmery blue squares of cloth, iron black candle holders, blue/silver ornaments, & snow-like, white confetti

-Amy and Brett, thank you so much for including me in your day! It's so fun watching the joy you all have being around one another...and the loyalty you have toward your friends and family. What a special couple! Blessings! -

Reed - McGeever Wedding 1.8.11

The lovely couple, Allison Reed and BJ McGeever, married January 8, 2011 in Dallas, Texas. The ceremony was held at Kessler Park United Methodist Church...beautiful plum and soothing green colors made these afternoon "I Do's" picture perfect. After the exchange of vows the party began at the nearby St. John's Episcopal Church (Parish Hall)!
I had the privilege of coordinating reception details for BJ and Allison... and what a perfect entourage of vendors the Reeds and McGeevers had lined-up for that day! The afternoon could not have included a more successful and talented crew.

Dr. Delphinium brought the flower arrangements.... GORGEOUS deep purple/plum colors...long stem greenery with cream accents - these are perfect winter colors. Winter brides often think they have to incorporate solely dark shades...but this isn't the case! There are so many vibrant colors to choose from, even in those frosty months! (I love the use of silver/golds, purples, bright reds, greens, bold and electric blues, etc.)

Photos (although these pics were snagged from Facebook!) were captured by Lindsey Carlson... and many of Allison's family members helped with set-up of the tables (crystal candle holders and glass hurricanes with candles graced each table). The round-shaped reception hall, half-surrounded with large bay windows, was a fantastic venue for this early afternoon wedding.

There were multiple chocolate cakes served for the Groom's cake (Bakery On A Hill).... and the amazing hors d' oeurves were catered by A Fiore Catering. Angie Fiore is a very successful and talented caterer in Dallas, who fuses an attractive, contemporary style with classic, traditional dishes. Her warm, personable attitude and creative flair proved her such a joy to work with!
LOVE this shot of the bride and her dad!

-Thank you so much, BJ and Allison, for letting me be a part of your special day! You are both a wonderful light of Christ, and it's a joy to serve along side you both. It was fun to re-live your day, and blessings on your marriage!-

Montoya - Hidore Wedding

1 . 1 . 2011

I so much enjoyed this New Year's day wedding of my sweet friend and co-worker, Kim. I was honored to be a part of J.P. and Kim's day by helping with the ceremony processional and other logistics. As you can see by the gorgeous photography (Christine Meeker Studios), the setting was beautifully Tuscan with deep crimson red colors, romantic candle-lit tables, dark oak wood doors, and sophisticated marble floors and columns.
The Bell Tower on 34th in Houston was the perfect location - - as an all-inclusive venue, they provide tables, chairs, linens, candles, catering, etc. It was a beautiful evening! Enjoy the pictures!
